The design draws inspiration from the plank masks of the Bwa people of Burkina Faso and Mali — known for their tall, geometric silhouettes and graphic patterning used in ceremonial dress. This interpretation stacks a crescent moon, a striped rectangular body, and a circular base in warm terracotta and electric blue, translating a centuries-old visual language into a striking contemporary wall piece. A small hole at the top allows the piece to hang directly from a nail (no hook on the back). Each piece is uniquely handmade, so slight variations in size and finish are part of its character.
