What is a Float Mounted Mat?
With a float mounted mat, your print is raised off the backing to create a soft shadow effect, giving it the look of floating inside the frame. This adds depth and showcases the full sheet, including the natural paper edges. All float-mounted prints come on textured, deckled-edge paper.
This option is particularly well suited for watercolors, illustrations, and fine art prints, but may not be the best fit for photographs.
